Please reach us at info@wagginwilderness.com if you cannot find an answer to your question.
All pets must be up to date on the following:
Any dogs part of daycare must be spayed/neutered or under 7 months of age. This requirement is not for pets boarding with us.
Yes, any guests staying with us must have a reservation to be sure a spot is open for their stay. Reservations can be made at any time; however, availability will vary depending on the season, time of the week, and holidays. We ask for you to call to get up to date information on our availability. If we are booked, we can add you to our waitlist as confirmed reservations can be altered or cancelled and we may be able to accommodate your stay at that time.
We provide everything that your pet needs except food and medication (if applicable). Please be sure to bring enough food for your pets stay with us, if enough food is not provided or forgotten Waggin’ Wilderness will provide food at an additional cost.
We also find it helpful to bring a small comfort item for your pet such as a favorite toy, parents t-shirt, or blanket.
Our guests have their own kennel or suite reserved specifically for them (kennel/suite will depend on what you reserved for your pet at booking). These spaces are located in a secured climate-controlled building for the comfort and safety of your pet. Suites are reserved for boarding only and cannot be booked for daycare.
No, our guests go in and out multiple times throughout the day. The following is what a typical day looks like. This is only an example and can change due to a number of reasons which can include precipitation, temperature, and the needs of our guests. This is only the schedule for dogs who are boarding with us and not for daycare dogs.
7:00 am - Quick potty break followed by breakfast (if required)
9:30 am - Outside playtime or walk. (We base this on the ability of your dog and their activity level.
3:00 pm - Outside playtime or walk followed by dinner (if required)
9:00 pm - Last out of the night, a generous amount of time to enjoy the outdoors before bedtime. At this time, their kennel is refreshed for a clean restful night of sleep.
Yes, we will send daily updates to the number provided at checking with 1 picture per day of your pets.
If your dog is staying with us overnight, your dog does not interact with any other dogs unless you, the owner, wants them to be part of daycare (extra charge).
Daycare is to help with socialization and dogs will be interacting with one another. All dogs must pass an initial evaluation before being allowed to participate in daycare. Any dogs that do not behave or exhibit any kind of aggression during daycare will be removed for the their safety and the safety of other guests.
